Another milestone has come and past. We are officially under the 200 days away mark. It comes at a good time too. I will be on vacation next week,,,getting married. Yeah, I know I said I'm getting married in 200 days, but this is the real wedding. with guests and officiant and a marriage license and I get to be the groom for this one. Technically I don't think I can be a bride in Nevada legally and have the marriage count. But I am excited none the less. I get to marry the woman that I love.
But I suppose this blog is about the wedding wedding in October where I will be the bride. That one is less that 200 days away. Just a quick piece of trivia, about 9 days ago I also passed under the 5000 hour mark too. As I write this, a lot of these numbers seem arbitrary or still too big to worry about. But then I think back to when I was 600 days away or how I need to actually make some concrete plans because this is really starting to get close. I need a few months for the dress, thats at least half the remaining time. And the last hundred days seemed to go by so much faster than the hundred days before that. So I guess I just need to calm down, reflect on where I was, where I am, and where I am going.
Lets visit the fitness plan. Last time I checked my weight at a milestone I was at 197 pounds. Of course, it was the dead of winter and I had stopped running for only one month at that point. 3 months later and I find myself at 202. Not bad considering I just started running again two weeks ago, Way back last year at this time I think I was around 212 or so.I am pretty sure I can get back under 200 fairly quickly with my final goal being 190 pounds by October 31st. This would actually get me into the high 180's since I weigh myself with clothes on. Oh, the justifications we girls use to rationalize our weight.
Since we are discussing wedding weight, lets talk about the wedding dress. While e-mailing my photographer, Gmail send me a directed link to a local wedding dress designer. I followed up on it and it worked out that she was interested in helping with my wedding. We had an initial meeting last week and she is going to come up with some design drawings and a price quote. This works out pretty well because I already had someone who was willing to help and now I can decide between the two designers. The new one is much closer so she would be easier to work with I think, but options are good. After we review the drawings and if the price is right we would be scheduling an initial measurement session, likely in May or June.
But I won't be at my wedding weight for the initial fitting, which is fairly normal, but this leads to the next item. It just so happens I ordered a custom corset back in December and it should be arriving some time in the next week or so. Yeah!!! That should help me get the proper measurements for the dress. Not that the dress can't be altered but its nice to be pretty close. The less I have to tighten the corset for the wedding day, the more comfortable I will be.
So on the list of what is done...I have a photographer lined up, I have a hotel suite booked, my custom corset is done and being shipped and my dress design is in the works. I actually just today booked my makeup artist too. In the near future I need to book our flight, chapel, and limo. Work need to begin on the wedding dress and I will need shoes and jewelry. Closer to the wedding I will book my nails tech, hair coloring (I have some grey) and my waxing appointment.
One other item to do is to work with my bridesmaid. So far I haven't heard anything different so I am pretty sure she is still planning on attending. She has been out of work for a little while and taking classes but I hope things will work out, she is fairly close to Las Vegas so the airfare will be cheap. We keep in touch so that will settle out as we get closer and I start to develop a timeline for that big day,
So that about sums up where I am at with less than 200 days to go. I will bring up one thing though regarding my last post. I didn't get any questions about what you would like to hear from a real girl as in genetic girl and their opinions on my role reversal wedding. I have been getting about 200 hits per day and almost 80 unique visitors per day, so I would think that there are at least a few crossdressers who might have some questions, but maybe I'm wrong. But in case you were too shy, don't hesitate to ask, I still plan on running a few real girls perspective posts.
Wish me luck, Next time I post I will be doing so as a married man but still a bride to be.
