Halloween Dress Up Week

Sorry about not posting until now. I have been busy getting ready for a party on the 24th and as part of my costume I needed to learn how to play the accordion. Let's just say it went well except for the part where I caught a cold. Which is a nightmare because today I start preparations on my dress up weekend. Luckily the cold, so far, appears to be short lived. I still have hopes for a recovery before the real fun begins on Thursday.

I know this isn't about preparing for my wedding but Halloween only comes once a year. Next year I can combine the two since Halloween is the day of the wedding so bear with m for now.

Yes, this is an actual picture of me the day before my waxing sessions begin. There are so many things wrong with this picture. In normal life I am a pretty hairy guy and it's hard to feel or look pretty in your Victoria's Secret lingerie when you look like a wolfman. This is why I wax, just in case you were wondering.


Here is my schedule for the week.

Tuesday - Face Waxing at 6:45pm (Ouch! I haven't done this before.)

Wednesday - Full Body Wax at 4:30pm (Ouch again, I have done this before but see the picture to understand why I do it) Then at 3:30 I have a makeup lesson with an artist who has done drag makeup before. I hope to learn some good info.

Thursday - Mani Pedi at noon (Fun! I have done the before and a full set of gel nails is awesome. This is also my first day off of work)

Friday - Play dress up all day long. I hope to take loads of pictures to post on my Flickr account. I also have plans to make a tasty dinner for my girlfriend we can share when she gets home from work. Just like a good little housewife. Then at 8:00 I will open the conference line on Yahoo Messenger to chat if anyone else is interested. My username is heisthebride, I will invite you into the conference if you ask. One last time, good clean conversation no sexy texting.

Saturday - Actual Halloween Day - More dress up fun until noon when I will open another conference on Messenger. Laze about until 5-6pm when a group of tick or treaters are allowed in the building. I will check with Kris to see if she is OK with me answering the door or not. Then get ready for our dinner date at 8:30pm. I will dressed in my green swing dress and crinoline and my girlfriend will be dressed as a sailor. We have to leave the safety of our loft, walk down the long cement hallway, up two flights of stairs and out to our car. All the while my heels clacking loudly as we walk. Then its on to the restaurant where I presume they will be very busy since the best time I could get for two people was 8:30pm. The restaurant is not having a Halloween party, its just a restaurant and I will be having dinner in full girly attire. I'm really looking forward to it actually. I may be a little more nervous the night of though. Not sure what happens after dinner we'll leave that to chance.

Sunday - More dressing fun. No real plans.

Monday - Nail Removal at noon.
